Virtual Exhibition
4th Street Fine Art presents our new exhibition, “Ravel!” showing the work of weaver Vera Totos and fiber artist Celena Peet. Their individual pieces explore the varied meanings of the word Ravel, which can mean both to fray/untangle or to become tangled: considering opacity/transparency, flow/structure, concealing/revealing, and permanence/impermanence. The show includes pieces by both artists, as well as an interactive piece that in-person viewers are encouraged to fray, cut, and take pieces from, explore its structure and become active participants in the show. Join us in to view in person in our well-ventilated gallery or online at 4thstreetfineartshop.com.
We have a wide selection of hand-made, local art, including painting, prints, photography, sculpture and jewelry. From safari shots of leopards to one-of-a-kind handcrafted necklaces to oil nudes and paper collage, we have it all. Our gallery features several artists’ work spaces, so you can see the tools of the trade. We’re conveniently located right off the University exit in Berkeley, two blocks from the Apple Store. You can visit us along with the other fine shops of 4th Street. See you soon!
